Carver adjustment. Take a skate tool(or socket spanner size 12 + 14) with you when skating to adjust your Carver. Do half a turn each time, then skate again until you feel the right resistance you like. As a surfer, you try to mimic the pressure\/resistance you feel on the water.<\/p>\n<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n

Adjustment Carver CX<\/h2>\n

1) Turn clockwise for a heavier setting. In case of a wheel-bite** problem, adjust it heavier.<\/p>\n

2) Turning clockwise is heavier. Rear axle should feel stiffer than front axle, this gives a better surf feel and more speed when carving.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

* Only if there is play on the 'arm'. And then tighten minimally until the play is gone.<\/p>\n

** wheel-bite, when in a sharp turn your wheel hits the skateboard, which can cause braking and a fall.
\nOften the problem here can also be solved by your technique. Not steering the skateboard with your ankles but purely by applying pressure with your toes and heels without using your ankles but by 'dropping' your body forward and backward as a whole.<\/p>\n
